The one constant in your life is you but you're not immutable either.

People come and go. Relationships exist through time. In the moment it is neither finite nor infinite, but present. If my life was depicted as a line I hope it has a unique slope. I hope yours does too. That way we have a higher probability of being acquainted regardless of how long it takes. I've only lived 21.9 years but I've ran into so many lines. Some are tangents. Some stick around for a bit. Some are parallel— I've never met them but I know they exist. Some go in opposite directions so I like to think we traverse over spheres instead of planes. Some quiver and flutter, not really sure where it's going but still trying to do something about it. Some come to a complete stop, willingly or unwillingly. Some lines I admire and praise. Some I'd rather not look. We all have different taste in lines. Some people will like your line. Some people will not. That balance will continue to shift so don't worry about it. Do you like your line? After all, the one constant in your life is you.
