Competing in a world dedicated to the division and specialization of labor allows us to economically sustain ourselves, simply(?) by knowing so much about so little.

Educationally, digging deeper instead of wider seems to be the dominant strategy to pursue at the stage of young adulthood, but there are times when I miss the naïveté of lateral explorations.
